Starting from level 5, RCM requires all students to take the written music theory exam to complete each level. Whether taking the exam or excited to learn more, music theory understanding is a ‘must’ for all musicians. Below classes are structured to help students prepare for their RCM theory exams.

Below are list of RCM theory classes offered this fall: Classes start on Thursday, October 9th
RCM Level 5 Theory (voice students): Thursdays at 7:15pm (30min) Taught by Ms. Kelsey
RCM Level 5 Theory (piano students): Thursdays at 8:00pm (30min) Taught by Dr. Pavel
RCM Level 7* Theory (piano students): Thursdays at 8:30pm (30min) Taught by Dr. Pavel

*Students taking Level 7 exam and in need of review of previous levels, we advise you to join the Level 5 theory in combination of Level 7 study.

Class material: Please purchase RCM theory book 5 / 7
Class dates: Starting October 9th and ends January 29th. No class on 11/27, 12/25, 1/1.
Tuition: $392 (14 weeks)
