Jae Hee Min

Piano Faculty

As native of South Korea, pianist Jae Hee Min has started playing piano from the age of 5. Ms. Min had entered the Juilliard Pre-College division at an early age, and was trained under the tutelage of Herbert Stessin and Seymour Lipkin. Ms. Min has won numerous competitions in Korea, US, and Spain, including 1st prize at The Puigcerda International Piano Competition, 1st prize at Brooklyn Arts Council Music Competition, 1st prize at YWCA Music Compeition, 1st prize at The NY Korea Times Competition, 1st prize at The Music Journal Competition in Korea, and Rutgers Symphony Orchestra’s concerto competition. 

Ms. Jae Hee Min has performed a wide range of solo and chamber works, striving to incorporate innovative and unique combination of traditional and contemporary music to make her performances more interesting. She has performed at Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Hall, Seoul National Grand Theater, Yurim Recital Hall, Hoam Arts Center, and also at cathedrals and concert halls in Spain, France, Italy, and Austria.

Ms. Min has also participated and performed in numerous festivals worldwide, including Vienna Concerto Fest, Perugia International Music Festival, and Brevard Music Festival, to name a few. 

Ms. Min holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Donn-Alexander Feder and Marc Silverman.  She is a doctorate candidate at Rutgers University, studying under John Perry, Min Kwon, and Vladimir Valjarevic.
